FDN Course was solid, but long

I completed the FDN Course recently. The curriculum itself was very comprehensive and provided a strong foundation in functional lab interpretation, which is exactly what I needed. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about a module. My main critique is that the course felt quite lengthy, taking me longer to get through than I anticipated. While the content is valuable, it could benefit from a bit more conciseness in some areas to improve the flow for busy practitioners. Value for money is there, but be prepared for a significant time commitment.

Good course, felt worth it

I just finished up the FDN Course a few weeks ago and it was really good. The content was super thorough and I learned a ton. I actually felt much more confident interpreting lab results after going through it. The pacing was flexible, which was great since I have a busy schedule. Overall, it was a solid experience and I feel like I got a lot out of it for my practice.

Good value for FDN Course

I was looking to get into functional lab training and saw the FDN Course. The tuition discount made it really appealing. I paid in full and saved some extra cash, which was great. It felt like a solid investment for the price, though I wish there were more upfront details about payment plan interest.

FDN Course delivery and content

I recently completed the FDN Course. The content was comprehensive and well-structured, covering a lot of ground in functional lab interpretation. Delivery was all online, which was convenient. I received my login details pretty fast after enrolling. My only minor gripe is that some of the video modules felt a bit dated, visually speaking, but the information was still very relevant. Overall, a positive experience.

Holistic Health Coaching review

I signed up for the Holistic Health Coaching Certification a few months back. The enrollment process was straightforward online. I had a quick question about the course modules before I committed, and their support team got back to me within a day, which was helpful. The course material itself is deep, especially the functional lab interpretation training. It's all online, which is flexible, but you really need to be self-disciplined to keep up. I appreciated the access to practitioner lab kits as part of the program; it made the practical side much easier to grasp. The only thing I'd change is perhaps more interactive Q&A sessions with instructors, sometimes the forum posts felt a bit slow for urgent questions.

Returning for Advanced Blood Chemistry

This is my third course with FDN. After the main certification, I came back for the Advanced Blood Chemistry Course. Just like before, the content is top-notch and directly applicable. It integrated well with what I already learned. I've always found their platform easy to navigate, and the support is consistent. My only small criticism is that the pricing structure for alumni courses sometimes feels less transparent than initial enrollment, but it's still a valuable resource I'll keep using.

Absolutely loved the training!

Oh my goodness, the Functional Lab Training was incredible! I learned so much more than I expected and the instructors were fantastic. Everything was explained so clearly and I feel so much more equipped to help my clients now. I'm already planning to sign up for the Advanced Blood Chemistry Course next. Seriously, if you're thinking about it, just do it! You won't regret it!

Hey, anyone know if the FDN course has payment plans? Thinking about signing up but the upfront cost is a bit much.

T Tim H. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they definitely do. I paid for mine in installments over several months. It was super helpful.

Pretty sure they have different options for payment plans, check the enrollment page or just ask them. I think it depends on the specific course too.

Thinking about FDN vs IIN. Anyone done both or have strong opinions? What's the main difference?

A Alex Taylor 1 week ago
FDN is way more science-based and lab-focused. IIN is broader, more about general wellness and coaching. If you want to dig into root causes with labs, FDN is the way to go.

J Jessica S. 1 week ago
Yeah, FDN teaches you to interpret labs and build protocols. IIN is more about lifestyle and habit coaching. Totally different approaches, depends on what you want to do.

how long does the FDN certification usually take to complete if you're working full time?

J Joseph B. 4 weeks ago
It's self-paced, but they suggest around 6-12 months. I did it while working and it took me closer to 10 months. You can definitely extend if needed.

H Hannah Campbell 3 weeks ago
Took me about a year, but I wasn't rushing. You have a good amount of time to get it done.

Is the FDN certification actually recognized? Like, will it help me get clients or is it just another random certificate?

W William Martinez 1 month ago
It's legit. I've had clients come to me specifically because they were looking for an FDN practitioner. It definitely carries weight in the functional health space.

G Grace H. 1 month ago
It's well-regarded in the functional health community. Not like a government accreditation if that's what you mean, but it's respected by other practitioners and clients who know the difference.

Can unlicensed health coaches actually order labs through FDN, or do you need some kind of medical background?

Z Zach Sanchez 1 month ago
Yes, that's one of the big perks! You can order labs for your clients through their Medical Director Program even without a medical license. That's a huge differentiator.
6
B Brandon Allen 1 month ago
Yep, that's exactly what they set up. You act as the liaison, and the labs are ordered under their medical director. It's totally above board.
